Rio de Sión is contained within what has come to be known as the Grand Circle - a high concentration of breathtakingly beautiful state and national parks, as well as recreation areas, that nature has arrayed within easy driving distance. From early explorers to Hollywood movie-makers, natural wonders such as Zion, Snow Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon have awed and inspired. And those are just a few!

Rio de Sión draws its inspiration from traditional American Southwest architecture and the diverse styles that inspired it, including influences from the Old West, Native American and Mexican cultures, and Spanish missionaries and explorers. The character of these buildings reflects the environmental conditions of their places of origin, and did not necessarily result from a purposeful quest for style.
